Audio Files: When you use DrumSplit.io, you upload audio files for processing. These files are processed in real-time and immediately deleted after processing is complete. We do not store, retain, or use your audio files for any purpose other than providing the separation service.

Technical Information: We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service:

IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
Browser type and version
Device information
Timestamps of requests
File size and format (for processing optimization)

Payment Information: If you purchase paid services, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Service. This includes page views, session duration, and general usage patterns. Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Provide and improve the audio separation service
Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
Process payments and manage subscriptions

3. Data Retention

Audio Files: Deleted immediately after processing (within seconds).

Technical Logs: IP addresses and request logs are retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then automatically deleted.

Payment Records: Maintained as required by law for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

Stripe: For payment processing
Google Analytics: For anonymized usage analytics
Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

We use minimal cookies and browser storage:

Google Analytics: Tracks anonymous usage statistics
Session Storage: Temporary storage for rate limiting (browser-side only)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US.
